Tell us a little about yourself, where you’re from and what you do?

I'm a fashion stylist and creative director. Currently living and working between Sydney, Byron Bay and my hometown Brisbane!

How did you get into the world of styling?

I always loved collecting magazines when I was younger and admired fashion editorials.. I worked inhouse for fashion brands as a creative director producing campaign shoots. I have had the privilege of travelling to some incredible places around the world throughout my career. I have worked with some pretty incredible people!

You’ve recently moved into a new home in Brisbane, what do you love the most about Brisbane?

Brisbane has become quite the cosmopolitan city and holds a special place in my heart. I love the growing culture in Brisbane. New restaurants, cool bars & handpicked luxury boutiques. The weather in the winter is so balmy and beautiful.. Teneriffe life is definitely buzzing with new energy.. The locals here are just sweet.

How would you describe your personal style?

My style is best described as minimalistic. This hasn’t changed much over the years – I’ve always preferred a pared-back look and drawn to timeless, classic pieces I know I’ll be able to style in different ways for years to come. I can't live without a good pair of denim jeans.. Right now Khaite and Magda Burtyrm are my favourite designers

How does your personal style extend into how you style your home?

Collecting furniture and decor for my home has become a true passion. Comfy but classic is my core approach to my style at home which reflects my personal style. It takes time to invest in quality pieces so patience is key.

Which of your recent new MCM House pieces do you feel reflects this the most?

The Elio sofa is heaven... It truly brings me happiness and my dog Bruce can definitely agree!

You’re always busy and exploring new things, what is next for Molly?

I have an exciting new venture that will be launching next year that I have put my heart and soul into which is taking up my time at the moment. More travel in the coming months which I am so excited for!
